We are happy to announce that we will be giving out $2,500 in scholarships again this year!
Rules and How to Apply:
***Applicants may ONLY apply for ONE (1) of the scholarships below. ***
As you view our scholarships, you may qualify for more than one, however, please determine which scholarship fits you best and apply to that one only. Failure to do so may result in your application being denied.
General Criteria for ALL Scholarships
In order to qualify for any of our scholarships you must meet all of the following criteria and provide proof of these criteria:
I am Southeast Asian or at least one parent is of Southeast Asian descent.
I am a Wisconsin Resident
I have a GPA of at least 2.5 or higher from the previous Fall 2022-2023 Semester
*Exception: GPA will not be a criteria to apply for the High School Pathfinder and Undergraduate to Graduate Level Pathfinder Scholarship, however, it will be weighted during the judging period.*Exception: GPA criteria for Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Business Scholarship requires at least a 3.0 GPA or higher (unweighted cumulative from the 21-22 school year)

High School Pathfinder Scholarship - $500
Sponsor: Ab Kue from RPM Bodywork
For High School Students Only
This scholarship is for high school students who are pathfinders paving the way to model how to overcome obstacles and celebrate successes in their educational journey. Through this scholarship, we want to promote higher high school graduation rates among our Southeast Asian students and acknowledge the pathfinder mindset it takes to achieve one’s educational dreams.
Crieteria: All OS Criteria applies and:
High school student
No GPA requirement to apply and GPA will be considered in the judging process
Essay Qs:
Describe a time in your life, that you had to be a pathfinder (a person who goes ahead and discovers or shows others a path or way) and what challenges or wins you achieved throughout the journey.
Bachelor of Arts Scholarship - $500
Sponsor: Anonymous
For Highschool Senior Students - Undergraduate Level Students
This scholarship is for students pursuing or currently majoring in a Bachelor of Arts degree. There are many majors that fall under this degree and this scholarship aims to support students who are interested and committed to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts to promote the arts in the Southeast Asian community.
Crieteria: All OS Criteria applies and:
High school senior - Undergraduate level student - (Proof of acceptance into college and intended major in Bachelor of Art)
At least a 2.5 GPA or higher (unweighted cumulative from the 21-22 school year)
Essay Qs:
Share about your major, why you are pursuing it, and why it is important. What value do you believe your major will bring to the Southeast Asian community?
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leadership Scholarship - $500
Sponsor: Chingcha Vang & E Her Vang
For Highschool - Graduate Level Students
This scholarship is for students who strive to embody diversity, equity, and inclusion in their educational journey and leadership. Students should apply if they are interested in dismantling systems for communities of color through their studies or future professional careers.
Crieteria: All OS Criteria applies and:
High school students - Graduate students
At least a 2.5 GPA or higher (unweighted cumulative from the 21-22 school year)

Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Business Scholarship - $500
Sponsor: Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce
For Undergraduate - Graduate Level Students Only
This scholarship is for students currently pursuing or majoring in a business degree. The Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce provides financial resources and consultation to business and community development activities that improve economic opportunities in both Asian and Non-Asian low-income and underserved communities. The HWCC is sponsoring this scholarship to promote more student leaders when developing, supporting, and sustaining businesses in Wisconsin.

Undergraduate to Graduate Level Pathfinder Scholarship - $500

For Undergraduate - Graduate Level Students Only
This scholarship is for undergraduate to graduate level students who are pathfinders paving the way to model how to overcome obstacles and celebrate successes in their educational journey. Through this scholarship, we want to promote entry points into undergraduate to graduate level studies among our Southeast Asian students and acknowledge the pathfinder mindset it takes to achieve one’s educational dreams.
